BELL RINGERS
Tharston bells are rung regularly. Practices are on Tuesday evenings by arrangement and the bells are usually rung for services once per month and on special occasions, because the bell-ringers also ring at other local churches. The bells can also be rung for weddings, for which a fee is requested.
Tower Secretary: Barbara Cattermole 01508 530739.
FRIENDS
OF THARSTON CHURCH
We have a thriving and supportive body of villagers, who –
whilst not on the electoral roll of the church – have a concern for the preservation of our historic church building and the services it provides to the village. We are very grateful for their on-going support for the work we offer.

OCCASIONAL EVENTS
The church runs several community events during the year, including an annual harvest supper and summer fete. Details are in the Benefice newsheet.
HOW TO FIND US
Tharston is located c. 8 miles south of Norwich, and adjoins the West side of Long Stratton. The Church stands at the centre of the village, on Hall Road, but the village itself is somewhat spread out, incorporating far flung ‘old village’ dwellings as well as some sizeable new housing estates.
